Short Note...

Been a while I know...work has been busy but I'm learning lots, which is good. I was glad I had the chance to meet up with a few of my etsy team mates. Dales came to town and a few of us, Cindy, Asuka and Sans met up for dinner and drinks. Go visit Dales's blog for her photos of Singapore ;) I nearly had to cancel the dinner appointment, but was glad I could make it eventually!

Large Tarte Profiteroles with Chocolate

I made this a little while ago for my friend, Marie who wanted a large tarte profiteroles drenched in chocolate sauce...Looks yummy, you think?

I'm also working on some large religeuses, so when I'm done I will have some photos :)

1:12 miniature scale pink peonies in elegant container

I made these a little while back, but just didn't had the chance to post it up. 6 miniature peonies in various shades of pink....a lovely sight in all angles actually.

This one is sold, but I'm going to make another one soon, with different leaves. Just a tad different :)

Sky Gardens

I now work in an office building which is 22 storeys high. It's been a while since I've ever worked in a high rise office building. The thing about working in tall buildings is that you probably miss seeing trees and nature, so I was very excited when I read the building directory and found out that there are Skygardens. Not 1 but 3! This is not cutting edge invention actually. I think in many modern cities, they have already started to incorporate garden concepts in high rise buildings quite a while ago. I told myself that I want to check them out someday :)

The other day after lunch, I dropped by the Level 5 Skygarden and was just amazed with it. Water features, green plants, shelter from the sun and lots of wind! What a nice quiet oasis. Too bad I wasn't carrying my phone with me, so I couldn't take photos. I told myself I would come back another time to take some photos.

So today after a quick lunch, I had some time and I wanted to visit this beautiful sky garden again. The photo quality is not great since they are taken from my phone, but I just wanted to share its beauty with my readers here.
