Dollhouse Miniature Hydrangeas in Bread Box

I'm quite sure I haven't materialize this concept into dollhouse miniature. Hydrangeas presented in a bread box. So that's what I have been making these for a while.

The first one I did was a beige hydrangeas with a blue bread box.

I don't believe I had made beige hydrangeas before, so I was excited with this color ^^

Then the next one I made was a blue and white combination.

More color combinations will be added, as soon as I have some more time^^

Have a wonderful week everyone!

1:12 Dollhouse Miniature Flora Oval Victorian Gift Boxes

I recently completed making a set of these 1:12 scale dollhouse miniature flora oval victorian gift boxes.

Using the same paper design as the background, I made the oval boxes. On the top of the gift boxes lies a simple pale pink peony flower arrangement.

This set has been sold, which makes me really happy. I'm releasing another one tomorrow, with just a slightly different tone of peony flower. Just subtle difference ;) Stay tuned!

Hope you guys have a great week ahead!

Dollhouse miniature sweet pink gerbera daisies in oval pot

Hi everyone! I've just completed this dollhouse miniature sweet pink gerbera daisies in oval pot. :)
I didn't think it would sell out that fast, but it is so encouraging, and so I'll be making another one more soon ^^

It's my first time making an oval pot and I do like this pot for flower arrangement. Oval pots does have a different feel from the usual square pots.

I'm also liking my new paper background design. It fits the color theme so well :)

There are a total of 10 gerbera daisies for the oval pot.

Lately, I can't quite muster energy to do much, except for making gerbera daisies...I must say. So my dear readers, you will be seeing quite a lot of them.

Well, I hope these photos bring a smile to you. Wishing you a wonderful week. :)

Dollhouse Miniature Oval Lace Cake Stand

Hello world! I'm back and am glad to be able to show you this new dollhouse miniature oval lace cake stand that I made recently. You know how much I'm into cake stands, and I've been making my own for a while. Though the common ones are round in shape, I chanced upon these lovely oval plates and knew they would look gorgeous as cake stands as well.

I love the intricate lace edges around the plate that really brings out its beauty. I also lightly distressed it so the lace edges are more prominent.

An obligatory shot of the oval lace tray with my fingers holding onto it. The tray is 3cm wide. Perfect for 1/12 dollhouse miniature scale usage!

It can be found in my etsy shop HERE.

Some happy news: My mom has been accepted into a clinical trial and she started her trial chemo just last week. So far she's coping well, the side effects are very minimal and that's really good. I think medical advances have improved by leaps and bounds over the years, and the newer chemotherapy drugs are no longer like how it used to be in the past where severe side effects go along with it. This is a vast improvement. Just hoping that there is some positive results from this trial.

Meanwhile, let me get back to sanding some tea carts. :)

Dollhouse Miniature Flora Round Victorian Gift Boxes

I made these dollhouse miniature flora round victorian gift boxes lately. These aren't new designs, but I always make a few little differences to each piece I make.

I've recently also changed my printer as the old one went kaput. With the new printer installed, I realized that the prints are still a little different, when it comes to color. The new one prints softer color, which actually works to my favour :)

Added a pink rose and brighter pink ribbon to this soft ensemble.

Available in my shop HERE.

In other news, my mom's disease has progressed, and she's currently awaiting to enter a clinical trial. This means more hospital visits on our end. I'm pretty quiet on social media these days, but I do post when I have new photos to share. I'm still checking and replying emails daily and do accept custom orders. I've currently completed one order and will resume working on a longer custom order which I have been working on and off. I'm so grateful to all of you who are so patient, and am always willing to wait for me to complete working on your orders. If you see anything that you'd like me to make but is out of stock, please email me instead. Thank you all so much for your patience and understanding.

Doll House Cake - Romantic Pink Peonies Mini Cakes

Hi everyone, finally I have another piece of work completed, in between the other customised projects going on. This has taken quite a while to complete, but I'm glad I managed to as all the other trio romantic cakes in my shop has been sold quite a while ago. I have always wanted to restock some. I have more ideas in mind!

These romantic pink peonies mini cakes have a pop of lovely sweet pink color in the center of the flower.

Do you also see the layered cake in the background? I'm still trying to complete the cake stand before listing it ^^ It's also another popular cake that has been sold out.

The cake is about 1.6cm tall. Width is 1.2cm at most.

Comes with a lovely glass dome cake cover.

This set is available in my shop here.

Dollhouse Miniature Pink Macaron Tower

Hi everyone! It's been another long while since I updated. The lunar new year holidays came and went. Just a couple of days ago, I received this in the mail.

It's a copy of the Florist magazine - based in Switzerland. My miniature flowers were being featured in a flower magazine and I was thrilled beyond words.

I'm grateful for the feature :)

I am mostly working on custom orders these days, and I'm very thankful everyone is patient while waiting for their items to be completed.

It's been a while since I made a dollhouse miniature macaron tower and I was surprised I had enough energy to make 2!

I'm so pleased how they turned out. I'm still figuring out the whole photography situation. I took these photos at 3pm, where the sun was really bright. I thought I would have really bad ugly shadows, which would be the case at my old house. I'm very surprised these turned out OK. I'm not sure if it means 3pm is now my ideal timing to take photographs, but I'll try again next time.

The macaron tower in the background is a custom work for a client and is still a work in progress...I'll take more photos once I complete that!

The pink macaron towers are always very popular. While making these, I thought of making blue macaron towers, which I've never attempted. I wonder if they would be as popular.

And here's another picture of it on the 3cm cake stand. It makes it look really grand. I'll have to restock those 3cm cake stands again soon!

Dollhouse Miniature Anemones Flower

Hi everyone! I'm back :) It has been a week since my Macbook was brought in for a battery replacement. During this time, I had been busy working on custom orders. I also had some time to work on this pot of dollhouse miniature anemones flower.

It has been a while since I made anemones flower, so it was refreshing to see how I would change their "looks". This time round, I made the petals more "open".

How do you like this version of anemones?

Happy New Year!

Happy new year's eve everyone! It's still officially 31 Dec as I write this blog post :)
2018 went by so quickly. Lots of changes on my end this year...from moving house (which was a big one and it took a lot of time and energy) to finding a new work schedule to fit in all of the caregiving duties and hospital visits. I'm still figuring things out honestly.

Some work in progress...

It's been a while since I made larger flower arrangements and I surprised myself that I could find the energy to make these few stalks of flowers during the quiet holidays.

Whilst making those peonies, I decided to offer them on a per stalk basis, so if you're interested to get some, please head HERE. It will be for a limited time only WHILE I still have this colored clay. All my colors are handmixed, so if that particular shade is gone, I will move onto the next color.

Here's wishing all a Happy 2019 and may you have a wonderful year ahead!

Dollhouse Miniature Christmas Snowflake Mont Blanc Desserts

During the past few weeks, I've been slowly working on some dollhouse miniature christmas snowflake mont blanc desserts which I'm happy to show you.

These are taken in another new spot in my new home, and I think this is my favorite spot for photography. It's roomy enough that I can place a table, and a chair to sit to photograph my miniatures. PLUS the sunlight on a good day is fantastic.

I was looking for some blue and white christmas desserts for inspiration but I don't find that many, at least not even one for mont blancs. So I created this from my own imagination. A simple white chocolate snowflake on top of a blue mont blanc dessert. I'm really digging the blue and white theme for now.

There are a couple more blue and white ideas that I want to make, some of which are remakes. Though they are ideas of previous years, but they are STILL fun to make.

I'm wishing everyone a great week ahead!

Dollhouse Miniature Milk Vase with Peonies

Hello everyone! It's already August...in fact mid August! I swear time flies. It's been a year since my life had a major change with added responsibilities. My house is almost completed with the renovations and I'm slowly getting the new furnitures to be delivered into the place. I should be moving in one month's time.

I recently completed this milk vase with peonies. Got this new pink wallpaper a couple of weeks ago. I haven't used a lot of really pink backgrounds for a while. But this fits really well!

Close up of the pale pink peonies.

I'm also thinking of making some blue ones, just because I think they would look nice :D

This set of peonies is available in my shop here.

Have a good week everyone!

Dollhouse Miniature Plastic Set Meal Trays

Hello everyone, it's already August! I recently had the time to experiment with using heat press and made these dollhouse miniature plastic set meal trays.

This method of working is definitely the first for me, and I've never tried using plastic before, therefore there was some learning curve for me.

But I'm really pleased with the end result. :)

What I liked about these were they are thin, yet very sturdy. They won't break even when you drop it on the ground, which is truly a HUGE plus point. When it comes to tray, obviously keeping the edges thin make it look more professional.

That's why even though there are resin molds for trays, the end result for those are still a little "bulky". The only way to make thin ones are using plastic.

I'm going to try to make some other designs, so I hope it will be successful. Honestly I'm still very new with this technique, so there definitely is so much more room for improvement and new knowledge to absorb in this subject.

This trio set of dollhouse miniature set meal trays are ready for you to fill it up with food :) If you're interested, you can get a set HERE.

I hope everyone is enjoying their summer. Have a great week everyone!

New Miniature Cupcake Base Mold For 1/12 and 1/6 Scale

Hi everyone! There is a new miniature cupcake base mold now available in my shop! This mold is suitable for making both 1/12 and 1/6 Scale.

What's different with this mold is that it comes with 2 different cupcake base designs. See photo below.

One with the cupcake liner and one that comes with a cup. :)

It's hard to find molds that allows you to make 1/6 scale. So for those who are building bakery shop for your Blythe dolls, you don't want to miss this!

For detailed measurements, please see the listing description HERE.

Speaking of Blythe doll scale or the 1/6 scale, I'm currently working on a cake display shelf for my lovely customer. I'll release this and make it available for all of you Blythe Doll owners sometime later once I'm done with this one. But it will be released as a MADE TO ORDER listing.

The design will be similar to the one shown in the above picture, on the RIGHT. The one above is in 1/12 scale. Of course I'll take more photos once I am done with the 1/6 scale bakery shelf. :)

Have a wonderful week all!

Dollhouse Miniature Vintage Kitchen Scale

Last week, I completed making this dollhouse miniature vintage kitchen scale in white color. This has always been one of my favourite kitchen appliances to make as they look realistic. Even though they do take some time, I do feel a great sense of achievement once I have it completed. They are surprisingly quite well popular too.

I plan to restock and make them in other colors too.

Making them shabby looking and vintage looking is just a preference of mine. :)

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! :)
