Show and Tell Monday ~ 1:12 Dollhouse Miniature Strawberry Plant in Vintage Rusty Tin

Happy New Year all!

I hope you had a wonderful new year, I had a wonderful holiday.

First of all, I have been featured on a blog interivew! Please click on the below to read the interview! http://bunnyluver930.blogspot.com/2009/01/interview-with-miniature-patisserie.html

During the holiday break. I had a lot of personal time, and I discovered new places/hunts, treasures, met new friends, and coincidentally met people I first met in Sep 08. All in all, it was great. I especially enjoyed the banter and conversations I had with several people. I am grateful for having that opportunity to learn and share that wonderful environment with like-minded people. It gave me a lot of ideas and lead me back to the starting point of why are we all doing miniatures. Everyone has a different life and story, but it’s wonderful how everyone is binded by their common love and interest.

On New Year’s Day, I visited Antique Patisserie. The shop is like heaven. Everything is so beautiful in there. I was taking in as much as I can. I treated myself to a Mille Feuille which actually is a vanilla mousse with whole strawberries sandwiched between 2 sponge cake and puff pastries. It is indeed very light!

I listed 2 new items this year. Started the new year with something light. Flowers and plants.
One is a cream pitcher with pastel roses, the other is a strawberry plant in a rusty vintage tin…both with very different feel, but still capturing the realism as much as I can.
