Experimenting new flowers...Found the name of the flower

This week, I was back in experimentation mood. So I made some flowers. Sometimes I have a photo for reference, but sometimes I don't. The flowers that I made this time round was based on my imagination. I think I've seen such flowers before.

After making them, I tried to look for its flower type name on google images and pinterest. But I couldn't find anything close.

So I went to my instagram and asked my friends for help :)

And someone mentioned Geraniums. I did a search and yup they do look like geraniums! I'm so happy that I have received help with identifying this flower type. It made me really happy :)

I think they look pretty lovely being displayed in this miniature mason jar mug. I love it so much that I am working on releasing a series of them, in mason jars. :)

I also particularly loved this shade. :) They have been painted on.

Dollhouse Miniature Pink Potting Bench

Hi everyone! I'm sure most didn't even notice this, but I was down without internet for almost a day. It wasn't too much of an inconvenience since I could still work on other things that doesn't require internet connection. But I'm glad to be back up and running.

Just a few days ago, I completed another dollhouse miniature pink potting bench. It's now on its way to its new home :)

I love this sheer light pink really. It isn't too "pink". I'm sure I'm going to make another, and trying another new color for the next piece.

I've also been busy updating my Etsy store. For those of you who aren't aware, Direct Checkout (now it's called Etsy Payments) used to be optional. But coming 17 May, all shops in eligible countries that has Etsy Payments option must comply and have it offered in their store. I've since been busy setting that up. I guess one has to embrace change. At the same time, I'm looking forward to some new roll outs in the coming months. One of them is the guest checkout option. Right now, one has to sign up, get an account in order to purchase something on Etsy. But soon, they would have a guest check out so it doesn't require one to sign up. So I think that's a cool feature. Updated: Apparently, there ARE already some guests checkout for some lucky buyers who get to experience it first hand. It will be labelled as (Guest) underneath the person's name.

Although there's one feature that exist right now which I probably won't adopt... just because it's not my shopping style. It's called the Multi-Cart Item. Now, you can add a bunch of stuff from different sellers into your shopping cart and then check out all at once at the same time. Previously, you can only shop with one seller at a time. I don't know about you, but I am not that kind of shopper who goes around and add a bunch of stuff from different sellers and check out at the end. It's too confusing for me. But I guess different people has different shopping patterns. I'm curious. What's your online shopping pattern?

Dollhouse Miniature Mason Jar Mug Silicone Mold

Hello April! How time flies! April...has traditionally been known as a slower month. And I think it's largely because everyone is busy filing for taxes. I know at least three countries have their tax filing returns date due in mid April, so I suppose everyone is just busy with paperwork. Most of the time, I have mine done in April. However this year, I started doing that in March and I am proud of myself doing it in advance and not leaving it to April. It just makes me feel more relieved that I've completed it way earlier than most years, and that alone makes me really happy.

Now, on to more fun things! I've new miniature molds stocked! Introducing the dollhouse miniature mason jar mug silicone mold and the dollhouse miniature drinking jar silicone mold.

The only difference is, one is with the mug handle, the other without. I find both equally charming!

I don't know when mason jars became a popular item in the kitchen. But it was in the recent years. People use it as a water glass, or even for flower arrangements. Some serve desserts with it.

These molds are slightly more complex to use than other molds, because it comes with 3 removable parts. However, English instructions and personal tips will be included when you purchase the molds from my shop. I have personally tried making them and wanted you to have a great experience with it, hence I think my personal tips will help you to eliminate some frustrations that come with trial and error.

The smaller size mold will be what you will be using more IF you're making it for 1:12 dollhouse miniature scale scenes.
