Show and Tell Monday

Mondays are now special and exciting to look forward to, because of Show and Tell Monday. I enjoy browsing everyone's blog to see what are the latest happenings in your life.

As I mentioned last week, I made a few wreaths, but in the end, I felt the pink rose wreath was most compatible. :)

The poll was closed last week, and thank you all who have participated. Wow, it was interesting and exciting to see which colour was leading. I did experimented on Lemond Custard, but for some reason, the colour was still a bit way too bright! In the end, I painted a few coats of white over it.

Right now, the chair seems a bit plain, but I thought of a beautiful idea to decorate that chair which I will work on this week. I can't wait to see it completed.

I worked on 2 new pastries (which I had to make for the bulk order) this weekend, and I placed the samples on the tray. I'm not sure if I'll use them in this piece, but I intend to add more work to it anyway.

The plant near the door represents new beginnings...

  13. Hi Pei Li,
The whole vignette is most enticing!! I love the pink door, the beautiful rose wreath and the sweet little white chair. New beginnings is a great theme. I had a beautiful sister-in-law, who has since died, who owned a day spa named New Beginnings! It was a wonderful place. Thanks for helping me remember her!! You, Pei Li are most talented!!

  14. Pei Li,

I absolutely adore your miniature creations. This pink front door with it's beautiful wreath looks just like my very own Hot Pink Front door on my home. Take a peek back at my blog on June 5th for the "My Front Porch" blog happening.

  17. The entire display is wonderful Pei Li! You are so talented, and the perfectionist shows in your creations.

You mentioned you were wondering if you should do something more with the chair. The chair is perfect, but if you want to embellish it,I had a thought... Maybe a lacey, or thin embroidered miniature shawl, something pastel, hanging off the edge, left/or right, on the back of the chair would be sweet. Just a thought~
